Re:       Christmas Break Back to School Reminder

Dear parents/guardians, students, and community members,

This letter is just a reminder that as was indicated before Christmas break, back to school for the first week is on January 4th . The first week from January 4th to January 8th, 2021 will be by remote/online learning for safety considerations.  The health and safety of our students, staff, and community members is our primary concern, therefore we will be taking these extra precautions.  This includes Kispiox Community School, the Headstart, and the learning pods for Glen Vowell, Hagwilget, and Senden’s.

As we gather more information for the COVID-19 situation, a decision will be made for the following week for Kispiox Community School, the Anspayaxw Headstart, and the learning pods.

Also, for your information, Sarah-Monique Chanona the grade 7 teacher has accepted a job elsewhere, so I will be filling in for the grade 7 class until we recruit a new grade 7 teacher.  I would like to thank Sarah-Monique for her hard work and wish her well in her future endeavours.

Lastly, we have implemented the IXL online learning program and have registered all our students.  However, I need emails for the grade 7 students for the roster for the program so that they can access the program.  So, parents if you can send me an email for your child to access this website it would be greatly appreciated.  If you have any questions you can email me at:  bmuldon@kispioxschool.ca
