Welcome to the Gitxsan Alphabet section of the KCS Gitxsanimx Curriculum. This was created at the Kispiox Community School to help get our language in the homes of our community. A good place to start is with making the sounds we need to pronounce the words correctly. Go through the following enough times so that you can pronounce the words correctly. There are 2 samples per Gitxsan sound. In the first sample you will hear the sound, then the sound used in a word and short phrase. Roll over a sound and press play to hear the sound and word.
